A scripture memory game with a verse editor!
…presented by none other than John Calvin, Marty Luther, and Sunday Software
This program is now free to the supporting members of www.Rotation.org
The only scripture memory game software featuring:
- A VERSE EDITOR so easy to use -even the teacher can figure it out. (put in your own verses)
- The ability to Add Comments and a 3 Question Quiz to each verse!
- Those wacky Reformers: Martin Luther and John Calvin
- Accordion AND Tuba Music 🙂
- And a scoring timer predestined to count UP rather than down (so slower players and Presbyterians can take all the time they need).
The coolest thing about this program is that, through the magic of “biovirtual animation,” Cal and Marty make comments about what you do, and their eyes follow your every mouse movement. See the VIDEO CLIP below for more detail. But it sort of looks like this…

After 24 years of pushing the Sunday Software nut uphill, I have stopped sales at this site and DONATED all my Bible software and games to www.rotation.org and updated and posted all my software guides there. Rotation.org also has all my software lesson plans.

A HUGE thank you to those who have been with us on this wonderful journey.
Minimum: 1.4 ghz, 1.5 mb ram
Windows 8/10 users, see our Windows tweaks.
Be sure to read our tech note about how to make this program fill more of your computer screen.
Age Range: K through adult.
How can younger children and non-readers use this CD? Quite well, actually! You can set up short verses, and then help them identify the words on the screen by sight, then help them with their mouse control. “Reading” the words isn’t important to us, it’s helping them remember the verse and they can do that by the shapes of the words. See our Cal and Marty Teaching Guide for lots more on this and other great techniques.
Cal and Marty can be used with any scripture translation you want to type. You can even use it to memorize things like the Apostle’s Creed. And you can use one of Marty’s ideas: have the kids CREATE their own memorable verse for stories that don’t have a natural memory verse.

Here are two Extra Verse Sets that Marty Luther has created:
- Miscellaneous Bible Verses and John 1:1-5, 18 memory verse set.
- Philippians 2:5-11 Paul’s great summary of the meaning of Christ’s cross.
These sets are in zip files. Save them, unzip them, and copy the file to your installed Cal and Marty folder on your computer so Cal can find them.
See a Lesson Plan for using Cal and Marty to teach Philippians 2:5-11 (which is a very good Lent lesson about the cross.)
