SOFTWARE Lesson for our Church Zombies Lesson Set
About the Lesson Set:
Written by Rev. Neil MacQueen for www.sundaysoftware.com, these lessons can be used in SEVERAL ways: individually, or all together, over several Sundays, or in succession during a VBS, or in a Rotation Model Sunday School as different “workshops.” Your choice!
Note: The software is now available as a FREE DOWNLOAD to the supporting members of Rotation.org.
This lesson is for Grades 2 through 7th. Younger children will need help playing the game. Be sure to print the Game Guide and Student Guide to help them. Have a Senior High (or two) preview the game and be on hand to help kids get unstuck if needed.
Lesson Plan: (35 minutes)
Start class by introducing the game and instructions. Give each student a worksheet to complete as they play. Scriptures are within the game so no need to start with a study.
Students will play Sunday Software’s “Attack of the Sunday School Zombies” game.
View the Zombies Game and Teaching Guide -includes a student worksheet
Print the Zombies Student Instruction Sheet to guide them through the game.

Lesson 3: Game Skits
Students will play a Bible verse matching game about the reasons why some people don’t go to church, and through skits PRACTICE how to make godly choices about your priorities.
Science demonstrations- Students will see then repeat several object lessons which are presented as “science” demonstrations. One of these demonstrations will be one they can take with them and use at any time to ‘explain church’ to others.
Worship/Presentation- This lesson set also includes song suggestions and short worship pieces for those using the lessons as a Vacation Bible School. Leaders will also have the opportunity to invite some church leaders to come hear student’s comments and tell their “church story.”
